Sergio was the first to qualify as an AO officer in South Australia and Faro is the lead provider of BVIR surveys in the state.

We have the experience, the training and support of both "buddies" and other providers necessary to satisfy the Department of Agriculture (DoA) requirements and provide the full scope you will need to deliver a professional BVIR survey.

We not only understand the legislative requirements but also understand the intent of the legislation. This ensures that Australia's exports continue to be highly valued and that both exporters and governments continue to aim to export quality produce to the world, supporting and enhancing Australia's reputation as an exporter of quality goods.

Draught Surveys

Our draught surveyors begin by spending time getting a full picture of the vessel's loading and discharge history before even beginning the survey.

Our inspections are very comprehensive, inspecting all ballast tanks thoroughly and objectively, conducting our own independent water density checks and verifying all necessary information from the hydrostatic tables.

We are thorough in our note taking and recording of all previous draught survey details.

More importantly, because of our longevity in the marine surveyor industry, we have the skills, expertise, experience and knowledge to identify, analyse and then problem solve issues quickly and effectively as they arise, limiting time lost and unnecessary delays, reducing expenses and limiting potential lost commercial opportunities.

All these factors give us the best chance to conduct a thorough and accurate inspection.
